Hi, I’m Bisha Chakravorty, a Trauma-Informed Resilience Coach for women who want to regulate, rebuild and rise.
Bisha Chakravorty is the Founder and CEO of Bisha Chakravorty Coaching. A former Management Consultant with 17 years of experience, she is a triple-accredited Leadership, Life, and Parent Coach who specialises in trauma-informed resilience and somatic practices, integrating nervous system awareness and compassionate leadership to support deep, sustainable transformation.
My dream is to empower women to understand their obstacles through a trauma-informed lens — not as signs of weakness, but as invitations for healing, growth, and transformation. I want women to develop the self-awareness, nervous system regulation tools, and resilient mindset needed to move beyond survival, break through internal and external barriers, and rise into sustainable, embodied success.
As a trauma-informed resilience coach, my purpose are deeply rooted in helping women make waves and shape the future—because I’ve walked the path myself. I know firsthand how isolating and overwhelming it can feel when support is scarce, guidance is unclear, and life keeps presenting obstacles. That’s why my mission has always been to create a safe, empowering space where women can heal, grow, and fully realise their potential—without letting hardship define or limit them.

With over 17 years of experience advising, coaching, and transforming hundreds of people and organisations, I bring a unique blend of People, Change, and Culture expertise from my Management Consulting background. I also combine evidence-based coaching methods, behavioural pyschology methods, trauma-informed practices, somatic & nervous system regulation tools. Finally I intertwine my own proprietary models to guide women through profound transformation—body, mind, and heart—so they can achieve outcomes that feel truly life-changing.
I understand the pressures faced by corporate women, working mothers, even women navigating cultural or societal expectations. I have also endured career, financial, and personal hardships—including identity theft and burglary—that profoundly impacted my psychological, emotional, and physical well-being. These experiences taught me how trauma can silently destroy our lives. My own experiences have inspired me to give back to others and help women heal, rise, and thrive despite the circumstances that feel out of their control.
I don’t want women to give up on their dreams. I don’t want women to lose confidence when adversity strikes. I want to teach women how to build resilience, navigate life’s challenges, and move forward with strength, clarity, and courage—transforming obstacles into catalysts for growth and empowerment.
My STORY
I faced repeated experiences that tested me deeply—but also shaped the trauma-informed resilience I bring to my work today:
➡️ As a British Asian child, I endured constant racial abuse and bullying throughout my school years, learning early how trauma can quietly impact self-worth and confidence.
➡️ I confronted cultural and societal judgment when I chose to pursue a degree in Economics instead of following the expected path of medicine, navigating the stigma that comes with stepping outside imposed expectations.
➡️ Just one year into a top corporate role, I failed my accounting exams and was signed off work due to stress, derailing my career plans and forcing me to confront the fragility of professional identity.
➡️ At 28, I worked in a toxic environment where I was repeatedly told that having my first child would be “career-ending,” facing pressure that compounded stress and self-doubt.
➡️ I encountered gender bias that blocked career advancement and promotion opportunities, highlighting systemic barriers women face in the workplace.
➡️ In September 2020, just before the birth of my third child, my family became victims of a severe financial fraud during the height of COVID-19, creating immense uncertainty and strain.
➡️ By 2021, the cumulative impact of fraud, identity theft, and ongoing stress led to a diagnosis of severe depression, anxiety, and PTSD, revealing how unaddressed trauma can infiltrate every aspect of life.
➡️ On Mother’s Day 2024, my family suffered a catastrophic burglary that left us all—including my three children—traumatised, forcing us to rebuild safety, trust, and emotional stability from the ground up.
Through each of these experiences, I not only survived but intentionally cultivated trauma-informed resilience—learning how to regulate my nervous system, process grief and fear, and develop strategies to navigate adversity. These lived lessons now guide how I empower women to transform their own obstacles into opportunities for growth, strength, and sustainable success.
I thought I had it all figured out as a teenager—just as many of us believe we do! I was ambitious, driven, and highly motivated. My plan was clear: graduate from university, join company X, get married, have children by age Y, and then climb the corporate ladder to achieve “success” by Z.
Of course, life rarely unfolds exactly as planned. Over the past 20 years, I’ve experienced periods of personal and professional thriving, but I’ve also faced significant challenges that tested my resilience, impacted my well-being, and required me to navigate setbacks with self-compassion and trauma-informed awareness.
